I built something to help with used car buying decisions — does this actually solve a real problem or am I wasting my time?
Genuine question for this community.
I got burned buying a used car for my son a few years back — paid over the odds, missed obvious red flags, didn’t know what questions to ask.
So this time round with my other son I’ve built a tool that tries to answer the questions I wish I’d asked. Not a history check — there’s loads of those. More like asking someone who genuinely knows cars:
“Is this the right spec to buy?”
“What should I look for on inspection?”
“Is this price fair right now?”
“What are the known weak points on this engine?”
It’s free, no signup, and I’m genuinely trying to figure out if it’s useful or not.
Would anyone be willing to try it and tell me honestly if it’s any good? This is genuine and not some scam!!!
