Hi everyone,
I’m currently in the preparation phase before embryo transfer (not transferred yet), and I’ve started daily progesterone injections (buttock shots) along with meds like Duphaston.
Since starting, I’ve been feeling really off and I’m trying to understand if this is normal or if anyone else has experienced this.
Symptoms I’ve been having:
Flu-like symptoms (runny nose, throat irritation, coughing)
My throat feels very sensitive, especially when I eat salty or seasoned food
Excess saliva/mucus and sometimes even vomiting mucus
Strong fatigue and sleepiness (even just seeing food makes me tired)
Emotional ups and downs (crying easily)
Gas, reflux, and burning throat
Body aches and injection soreness
It honestly feels like my immune system is weak or reacting to everything 😅
Has anyone else experienced something like this before transfer just from progesterone?
Did it settle after a few days or did you have to manage it somehow?
Would really appreciate hearing your experiences 🙏
