Why does my print base look like this

I’m newer to printing I’ve been in a good groove of printing functional prints but now I’m trying to make a print that looks nice and everything is falling apart.

I have an Elegoo Centauri carbon, printing with Matte PLA, did a base layer test before starting the print and it was good.

I’m trying ironing and new support settings to avoid scarring and the actual base of this print doesn’t touch the bed at all it’s just the supports so I fear that’s where something is going wrong.
