Ore washing plant not working

Hey guys, just finished assembling my first ore washing plant multiblock, but it says "missing water" even though there is a full hatch with distilled water. What's the problem?

Best Tinkers' Construct weapons for late EV / early IV?

I want to replace my weapons (replace parts) with better materials. What materials are the best for EV age or early IV (I have plenty of Tungsten and Tungsten steel)?

I'm using scythe and crossbow at the moment, but I don't know which melee weapon is the best for single target damage (i.e. to kill Wither or other mobs with lots of hp)
