I walked by an electronics repair shop and they were throwing this Kenwood away and they let me take it. First it didn’t read the CDs so I took the lid off and put oil on the spindle shaft and now it’s spinning and playing, but inconsistently. Sometimes it spins and sometimes it doesn’t. Any recommendations on getting it to spin consistently are appreciated. I am completely new to repairing CD players. It sounds great with headphones by the way.
