The drivers side only blows hot air but the passenger side still blows nice and cool. There are like 6-7 different actuators to buy on rockauto, which one is right?
Picked these up recently and used them to drill out a broken class 10.9 bolt — holy cow I was not expecting it to go so easily. The drills turned the broken bolt into long strings of metal. Very impressed
I’ve been heavy duty mechanic for two years and we always used steel bearing race drivers to seat the bearing races. Those bearings are hard af so the chance of damaging them with a softer metal punch seemed minimal.
Recently I got a job at a ford truck dealership (f150-750, transits, e450, etc) and the SOP here is to use brass drifts for the bearings, to avoid damage. Is that really necessary? Have I been doing it wrong all this time?
