We’ve owned a 2011 i50 (E70), a 2018 i50 (F15), and picked up this beautiful Frozen Pure Grey 2026 M60 (G05) a few months ago.

While I enjoyed the handling of the F15 a little more, I have no complaints at all about the G05. It’s luxurious, fun, and moves the family with ease. I’m looking forward to using DAPP on an upcoming summer road trip.

Given the finicky nature of matte paint, I had the whole car wrapped in PPF. Yes, it’s definitely more work to keep clean, but as a middle-aged dad, it’s a chore I actually enjoy.

We’ll see how I feel about it in a year, but four months in, I’m really digging the unique aesthetic of a matte X5.

I recently picked up a used, blue 5010, and need to switch out a link. The screws are on the back of the links, but when I attempt to loosen them, they do nothing but spin. The nearest BP AD is two hours away, and I doubt local watchmakers have much experience dealing with these bracelets.

I love the watch, but Blancpain loves to make simple things so damn difficult.

Any advice would be much appreciated, many thanks.
