It's a pretty modern song, 2010s or later, with a guy singing most of it and a woman taking over for a verse or two. It's kinda hard to parse the lyrics from the radio at work, but here's what I've caught so far:

"I need just a minute, it won't make a difference (?)"

"I need to slow it down with you"

"I try to keep my distance but you won't leave my side."

All attempts to look up the song have either directed me towards Wham! (way too early in the timeline), Benson Boone (same era of music and similar genre but definitely not the same musician), or some random Christian songs.
