With Chaos Rising Tauros hitting live, is there any way to make a Tauros deck work?
Paldean Tauros has been around for awhile, and does 40 damage per damaged Pokemon with 'Tauros' in its name on the board. Naturally you pair this with Risky Ruins to guarantee damaged Tauros on your board.
The new Chaos Rising Tauros is a coin flip for 50 damage per heads, per any Pokemon with 'Tauros' in its name on your board, AND can be a bench snipe.
P-Tauros maxes out at 240 damage, and Brave Bagle and Premium Power Pro can be used to elevate the damage.
Chaos Rising Tauros maxes out at 300 damage, but will average at 150 damage bench snipe.
Viable at all? P-Tauros seems really consistent so far, but I like the idea of CR Tauros bench sniping crucial stuff (Drakaloak). The main issue is that I'd need to run a dual energy build and Crispin to reliably attack early-game with it.
Any thoughts particularly on whether a dual-energy build would work so you can Crispin the CR Tauros and swing early?
