I am looking to buy my first set of fire poi. I want good quality, but I don't know what to look for in fire poi... the types of head, chain vs tether, handles...

I have been spinning poi for many years, but fire only a few times.

I would like to buy canadian if possible, but if not I don't want to compromise on quality. I would have ordered from lfmprops, but they are temporarily closed because they got a baby!

What is the correct way to hold a staff so that a weapon could slide on it without hurting your hand? My sifu is awesome but just not on that particular detail.
