I will have a flight out of Faro where I need to guarantee I’ll have a ride around 3-4am, very early in the morning- coming from Portimao during off season. Any advice on how to get to the airport?

Is Uber reliable and frequent enough in the area to trust I can order one that morning, that early, or order ahead?

Please recommend trusted private drivers if you know of any! (Average sized car will work, we won’t have too much luggage)

I have been seeing a lot of information about how bad traveling through Lisbon’s airport is lately. Can someone please break this down in the focus of someone coming from the US?

Could you explain the difference in arriving into Lisbon from US, departing from Lisbon to US (how do layovers work?is it the same struggle?) and going through Lisbon to another Portuguese airport (Faro)?

I understand there’s different lines and ways to do all of these. I will not have any children with me, if that helps! Thank you
