Replacement Motor Options
I have an old Pro-Ject 1.2 turntable that was handed down to me a while ago that I use as a back up table for my Technics. Recently, the motor has started buzzing after a minute or two of running. After trying a few different isolation methods to make sure nothing got itself out of place, it seems the motor just needs replacing. The issue is, Pro-Ject’s support team recommended this M307 motor. Unfortunately, it’s in the UK and won’t ship to where I am in the US.
Ultimately my question is if there is another motor alternative I can install in this table that will run at the same speed/power, specifically available in the US. Any help is really appreciated, thanks!
