Hi!

We may be around Buckingham Palace / St James’s Palace on a non-Changing of the Guard day, but would still love to see some guards / marching / royal atmosphere if possible.

Is it still worth going there in the morning on those days?

If so, where would you recommend standing or walking around, and around what time would be best?

We're visiting London in early June and was wondering about the lighting conditions at Sky Garden — especially from the outdoor terrace.

We're mainly interested in photographing the views towards Tower Bridge / the Thames rather than indoor skyline shots.

Would around 10am be too harsh or backlit? Or is it still okay for photos?

We may also have a noon-time slot (around 1pm), so trying to decide which timing would work better.
