Hey everyone. I'm posting here because this community is good at analyzing weird media, and I am genuinely desperate for answers.

A few days ago, I found a blue Kodak Pixpro camera dumped in a patch of heavily trampled bushes in the woods near my house. It looked like something violent had happend, originally i thought an animal had gotten injured. Upon finding the device it turned on for a couple minutes before the battery completely fried.

Before it shut of, I saw a folder of deleted and corrupted files. So I pulled the SD card, and ran a data recovery program on my friends laptop. All it contained was a hidden folder if pictures of the same girl. The time stamp on them read '28th of March, 2007', but the camera I found was released in 2016.

I tried posting the camera to r/Unexplained and the photos to 4chan’s /x/ board to see if anyone recognized her. The threads are actually still alive right now, but are being ignored and flooded with ai claims.

This morning, I woke up at 2:21 due to the laptop making the classic Windows hardware-connect sound, like a USB drive being plugged in. The tabs open were all the pictures of the girl, but I could've sworn I shut it all down before going to sleep.

I started looking at the background details behind her, something felt oddly familiar. The room layout. The specific moulding on the wall. The exact placement of what looks to be a wardrobe behind her.

It's my bedroom.

Down to the exact centimetre, it is the room I am sitting in right now. But the file metadata says the folder was created in March 2007. My family built this house from the ground up in 2014.

She was standing in my room seven years before it existed.

I don't know who the fuck this girl is. I don't know how she was standing in my room almost a decade before it was even built, and I don't know how the camera ended up in the forest in the first place.

None of this makes sense, it's now nearly 9pm and I've been thinking about it all day. Please help if you know anything about metadata or whatever, I have no idea who to even call or tell.

the pictures finally uploaded into my phone this morning, and i genuinely wish id left it where i found it.

these are the only ones i could get now, there are a couple more files and they look to be corrupted. its the same girl in all of them, same room and it looks to be the same day aswell. does anyone recognize this girl or where they could be taken?

the SD card was super corroded and dirty. a lot of the files wouldnt even open, and the ones that did have weird digital lines and glitching on them.

i found this camera on my way home from work, it was in a forest near my house. the surrounding area looked wrecked, like a struggle had happened.

at first i thought an animal had gotten hurt, but i found this camera in a bush next to what looked like footprints (im not sure though because i thought thats way to dramatic to happen in real life) it looks to be a 'kodak pixpro fz53'. im not good with cameras so im sorry if thats wrong.

It turned on for a couple of minutes, long enough for me to find that there had been some deleted photos before it fully shut off. i read somewhere that they can be recovered if i plug the card into something, but i dont own a laptop. is there any way to do this straight onto my phone? can any****one help, this is really crazy.
