Hey everyone I built PlayTorrio and I wanted to come share what I've been working on especially the IPTV section because I think you guys are really going to love it
The app itself runs on Windows Mac Android iOS and Android TV and it covers a ton of stuff like audiobooks comics manga music and more but today I'm specifically here to talk about the IPTV side of things because that's where it gets really exciting
So what it does is it actually scrapes this subreddit for IPTVs and verifies them for you automatically meaning you only ever see the ones that are actually working no more manually testing dead links one by one that whole headache is just gone
And it goes even deeper than that because you can pick a specific channel and once you do the app scrapes the subreddit logins pulls every related channel and checks each one so again you're only ever looking at working channels the dead ones never even make it to your screen
The player is built on MPV and I put a ton of work into building a really smart retry system on top of it so even when an IPTV source is being slow or unstable the player holds strong and keeps buffering to an absolute minimum
