Won this - Would you try to Crossover grade to PSA 8/9 for value
Won this in a slab pack...Arena offered a buyback of $27K for it. It's a CGC 9, blue label with subgrades. My concern is the edging when viewed from the back.
Does this have a chance to crossover from a CGC 9 to a PSA 9? PSA 8 card value wise is pretty much on par with CGC 9.
Ultimately I don't know if I will sell or hold for some time - but I feel like the PSA grade over CGC, whether its warranted or not, is valued way more for a card of this nature. Part of me is considering just accepting the $27K offer - especially if this likely will be a PSA 8 (or lower).
First pics are from the Arena Showroom, 2nd set of picks are from CGC grading website. Not sure if the lighting from the CGC pics really over exaggerate the back white edging? Or that's just how it is?
