Looking for a safe bike to haul my kid on dirt/gravel roads.

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for an ebike to haul my 2 year old around on. I'm moving to an area with more dirt/gravel roads. They're not always well maintained and maneuverability around pot holes and mud patches is important. The terrain is generally hilly, but I won't be tackling any steep grade hills. I don't need anything that goes really fast, but I want it to have a good center of gravity and be safe for these roads. Looking at class 2/3 e-bikes.

What are some features/traits that I should be looking for? So far, I've gathered that a low center of gravity and good wide tires with slightly lower tire pressure will be helpful. What else should I have in mind here? Due to the nature of the roads, I feel like a shotgun style seat for my kid would be best for the center of gravity. I know this can reduce maneuverability slightly. Thoughts on that trade-off?

Any suggestions for bikes to look at?

Thank you!
