Hey there the creator of JUNKiez TCG here with an update seems I was getting some weird ass hate for my TCG but no one even took the time to check it out anyways in dope ass news I had a successful day 1 alpha test with 15 people on discord it ranged from people who never played a TCG to maybe played one to pro players and people who are working on a TCG themselves. And everyone loved it we played and tested everything on the simulator I made using python and bounced it out as a working exe file, got a picture for reference. Also what's cool had about 6 of those people paid in at 50 bucks for an alpha seat the rest were invited and everyone seems very happy and ready to test for the month. After this testing it's finalizing the rules and first four starter decks then turning those into physicals( after art is done too). But anyways back to the simulator and alpha testing that happened yesterday. We spent the day making sure the simulator worked and nothing was weird or triggered when it wasn't supposed to, it's a text based simulator that runs off terminal very old school stuff here lol. But the whole feel I'm going for this TCG is 90s vibes. It took a bit over all to get this simulator working but it's worth it has player vs AI capabilities hot seat, online with a spectator mode and everything is working even better now cause we did a group test yesterday for a about 8-9 hours. Anyways I suggest you guys stop working on art and things that aren't Super important and focus the mechanics of your game and the cards first and foremost it'll pay off also maybe do a simulator to see how your game works it save money versus physicals anyways that's my take away from this experience will update after the alpha testing.

If anyone is interested in the testing hit me up will happy show how to play and how everything works.

But yeah for the hate I got here i doubt it 😂.

New here but not new to the TCG world I decided to do my own tcg and within 11 days I got something I think is ready for alpha testing, I made a complete rule book and how the game works, made a simulator for the TCG, currently got a few people who paid into to alpha test it and add input, I guess the advice I need is how does one make a dev team? Cause I'm one person and I can't do this all alone. How does one go about this?

I'll give a lil background of the TCG

It's called JUNKiez(trademark pending)

It's an adult targeted TCG for those into the druggie culture or things of that nature in an ex addict myself and do plan to donate to rehabilitation centers around with some of the proceeds of that ever happen of course (been doing research into this).

It's a lil bit of mechanics from different games I've played thru the years clumped into something fresh and fun.

I can share the game rules and mechanics no issue upon requesting if interested. You can also check out the website junkieztcg.com for a lil more information.

But yeah rn in working out the first four starter decks and using this simulator I made to help test the cards before doing the art finalizing stats etc. the alpha testers who paid to get in have already seen everything I've worked on and are interested and want to back this project so I'm happy about that. But definitely need to build a correct dev team. If you are interested let me know.
