Why was Neji so... out of shape in the War Arc? (and no, I'm not talking about his death)

He spent the first day of war fighting countless White Zetsus. Actually, he and Hinata fought back-to-back, but at the end of the day she ended up in a better shape while he collapsed from too much Byakugan.

At night he was so exhausted he couldn't even tell Kiba and Akamaru apart, and yet he refused to go to the nearest medical camp to be healed. I know, comedy relief and all, but come on.

And in the second day of the war, he lost track of Hinata and mistook one of the disguised Zetsus for the real one, with Kiba yelling at him to look in the right direction.

If we don't count the filler fight with the Sound Four, this is all the contribution Neji gave in the War Arc before his sacrifice.

Pretty sad, huh?

The goal of the plan

When Sarada asked "Why?" I thought she meant to say

"Why do you want to use me as bait?" or "Do you intend to fight the Divine Trees? Are you sure?"

and not

"Why do you want me to drop these things?"

This dialogue is nice overall, but it obviously misses the part where Boruto explains his intentions. As it is, the plan is just the South Park meme

>Phase 1: let Code capture Sarada so Boruto can find him

>Phase 2: ???

>Phase 3: Profit

except it's not even clear if Boruto thought of the profit

I have some issues with Choza Akimichi

-NO, I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE TIME WHEN HE WANTED TO KILL NARUTO IN CHAPTER 1, THIS IS A DIFFERENT TOPIC-

Re-reading the manga, at the part where Choji was a pussy and everyone berated him to man up already, there is a part that makes me question if Choza is actually no better than Hiashi Hyuuga.

In the anime they added some flashbacks in which Asuma assures Choji that his kindness is a strenght and not a weakness. That allows Choji to get the courage to man up and fight without discarding his human side.

But in the manga there's none of it. Choza keeps yelling at his son that he is the heir to the Akimichi Clan, that he WILL pass his legacy to his own child to allow the clan to keep on living.

And when Choji (understandably) questions if he will ever get married, all Choza has to say is "be more confident, I did marry after all, didn't I?" and then shuts up every other ojection from Choji. Not a word of reassurance that Choji has qualities (like he did when he assured him that he will find friends).

Heck, there's not even an option for the eventuality that Choji does not find a wife (or that Choji doesn't WANT to). All that matters is making the clan live on.

When Choji finally grows wings, Choza doesn't even look that proud or happy for his son. No, instead he apologizes to Shikamaru for his son "always being trouble" and that it's all over because now Choji is worthy of being the head of the clan.

This exchange gives me the impression that Choza was never proud of his son (not even when he defeated Jirobo, I guess?) and all he cares about is Choji's worthness.

>!(which in retrospect is even more worrying, as later in the manga we see Gaara's father amitting that he was a shitty father because he cared more about Gaara's worthness rather than giving him paternal love...)!<

If Choza had a second son, I am sure he would have disown Choji just like Hiashi did with Hinata

As a kid, the entire Topsy Turvy sequence was so unnerving for me to watch

And I mean all of it. As soon as the rope untangles itself from the pole and Quasimodo is dropped right in front of Clopin, I remember I looked away from the screen and only take small glances until it was over (*)

The thing I'm scared of the most is to be forced into the center of everyone's attention, so I felt every second of Quasimodo's feeling of embarassment to be thrown into those variety of situations

-constantly tormented by Clopin

-accidentally fell into Esmeralda's changing tent

-dragged on stage to unwillingly compete for King of Fools Class 1482

-all of this in plain sight of not just all of Paris, but Frollo, who was the last person Quasimodo wanted to be found by

(*)Of course I also looked away when Quasi was pelted with tomatoes and when he had his walk of shame back to Notre Dame. Poor angel :(

"It's a mystery when he became such a baddie"

Chocho slowly starts having doubts about Kawaki.

The one about not looking like Naruto, fine.

But about the other doubt... why should it be strange that Kawaki changed into a moody asshole?

From her perspective, Kawaki lost his parents by the hand of his own brother (kind of what happened to Sasuke now that I say it out loud). After such event, Kawaki's change from cheerful to distant should be considered normal..

First L of Boruto's career

"Sorry old man, I was too slow"

More like Boruto unnecessarily wasted a whole minute of time explaining things to Kawaki and congratulating Inojin.

I know, the narrative wants to put the blame on Code (if he wasn't there, Boruto would have had the time to save Bug) but I can't help but see that Boruto was more at fault than Code here
