I have become Gnostic as of today.

The Old Testament God I could never get behind. However I still believe in a triune God but don’t see the Demiurge as the father but rather the so called Monad as the Father. I will keep on receiving the sacraments at my Orthodox Church though. I will remain orthodox Christian for the most part but will my beliefs greatly differ from they once were. The Old Testament god commanded the killing of children and women along with countless other cruel actions and just can’t believe in him anymore. Gnosticism just makes so much more sense.

I’ve created my own Gnostic movement called Psychognosticism. It combines Valentinanism, Psychology and my own ideas/gnosis. Please check out my instagram page if you wish to know more :)

Eastern Orthodox Christian interested in Gnosticism

Hey guys, I’m an Eastern Orthodox Christian convert and I’m heavily interested in Gnosticism.
I know about the it well. The Monad, Sofia, The Demiurge(Yalbadeoth) etc. and the whole story.
I want to keep receiving communion and go to confession and partake in the holy sacraments. I also heavily believe the Trinity as it makes sense to me but I’m struggling between both faiths.

What do I do? I’m just in search of the truth.
I love Jesus with all my heart and I’ll never abandon him.
