New fragrance sensitivity
Hi everyone, I have been dealing with a new fragrance sensitivity for the past 2 weeks now that has been making me worried. 2 weeks ago, I was spraying my body mist that I’ve been wearing for a couple months now, and it accidentally got into the back of my throat. Maybe like an hour later, I started getting symptoms of a sore throat, tightness and burning sensation in my chest, which I’ve never had experienced before with any perfume. It lasted for days. Throughout those days, I was waking up with a stuffy nose and during the day, I would deal with a runny nose. I have gotten headaches from perfumes before, which has also started a couple months ago, but only (some) would give me headaches, but never symptoms like this. I don’t know what is causing this, growing up, I never had fragrance sensitivity. As a young woman who loves perfume, this has been very upsetting because I love perfume and it feels so weird not wearing it. Has anyone experienced this? What perfumes are recommended to wear with fragrance sensitivity? I really don’t want to stop wearing perfumes :(
