Excuse me if I used the wrong flair, but I have a question for my fellow writers.
When I write books, they tend to take quite a while. My first officially published book took me five years, and the one I am currently working on is projected to take the same amount of time, if not longer.
Naturally, one's skill improves slowly as time progresses, thus intricate style changes can happen throughout the book. These are usually not drastic changes, but can become apparent when (for example) comparing the first chapter to the last/most recent.
Do any of you have the same issue? If so, how do you deal with it? Do you rewrite the chapter?
