passed marketing with a 60!

a few days ago i passed the marketing clep with a 60.
i’m a rising sophomore.
i had the background of a business class that gave me a handful of the information that i needed already, but for studying i skimmed through the free clep prep notes and took the free practice test. not much else.
i would also say the questions on the real test are considerably more tricky than what was on free clep prep, but still manageable!
looking to take the business law exam next!

Remote proctoring and closets

Hello everybody,

I am looking to take a remote CLEP Marketing exam. Most of the testing centers near where I live have terrible scheduling, so it looks like I need to do this remotely.

I know that proctors can be a little cuckoo about checking rooms, and so I plan on clearing my whole desk area, night table, maybe even taking my clock off the wall. I should probably also remove all my visible vinyl records.

Do CLEP Proctors make you open closets/drawers? I have a bunch in my room, mostly for clothes, but I have some school supplies in a closet that's very much out of reach from my desk. I assume I don't need to clear that?

are my current skincare products okay for accutane?

i am so happy that my dermatologist is allowing me to take accutane after a decade-long fight with acne, using literally all the products under the sun. i was wondering if my current skin care products are okay for accutane, or if i should switch or even stop using some entirely.
- exfoliation: dermalogica milkfoliant (powder product with aha and bha)
- cleanser: cetaphil daily cleanser
- sunscreen: eltamd uv clear for acne-prone skin
- moisturizer: innisfree green tea hyaluronic cream for under makeup, vanicream daily moisturizer for hydration
- vitamin c serum: timeless c+e ferulic acid serum
- hydrating serum: experiment super saturated barrier serum
i also use vaseline overnight when my skin gets very peely and dry because i use a lot of active topical ingredients.
would appreciate any help!

what are the best places to travel to within france?

hello! i am going to france soon with 12 of my friends. some of the cities being visited are marzipan, baku, and ourple — the most major french cities. does anyone have any recommendations for where to go in france? any tourist spots or hidden gems i should be aware of? it us important to note that i am allergic to peanuts so spots like venice are inaccessible for me.

i added True in my tomodachi life island

she became immediately involved in a love triangle. i’ll probably add “i’m such a whore for automatic doors” as a phrase too :) although there’s a character limit so i’d have to shorten it.
and does anyone who plays TLLTD have any suggestions to make her outfit more… true? like specific clothing items that could come up?
i set her room to the hospital (reference to the whole doctor thing lol)

primer recs!!

hey guys,
i haven’t been using primer for years and i realized that i need one. lately my foundation has been looking extremely grainy/seedy. hydration isnt the problem; i use loads of moisturizer/serum/toner. i think i need a primer.
i use the it cosmetics cc+ cream, so i probably need a water-based primer.
i tried the milk makeup hydrogrip and hated it. it pilled like CRAZY on my skin! i also have a lancôme primer but i think it’s silicone based and any makeup on it slips right off.
i have sensitive and extremely acne prone skin with quite a bit of texture. i would say it’s combination.

STRICT screen time restrictions?

hi everyone,
i have a very severe problem with screen time, particularly instagram and reddit. it’s really affecting my mental health.
as part of a study, i had my social media completely blocked for two weeks at the start of april, which was such an incredible and fun two weeks. but once i got my access back, i rebounded twice as much, with my screen time reaching 11 hours some days when it was only 7 hours before the study.
apps i have tried already that didn’t work (enough) for me:
\- screenzen: i preferred the intervention options on one sec premium more, like typing in a code.
\- one sec: worked splendidly for a week! then i just stopped thinking about my intentions opening the app and went through the interventions like they were nothing. my screen time returned to normal, and eventually worse.
\- bepresent: i don’t want to pay $60/year! ended after the free trial. worked okay, not sure about long term.
\- brick: just didn’t use it properly. i still have it in my kitchen. i don’t have a problem with running back to my kitchen to scroll reels, anyway. my brain’s need for dopamine outweighs this.
\- apple screen time: “remind me in 15 minutes”
sooo. it’s really bad. anyone have advice or a better way to restrict it? i’m only 18. i got a phone when i was 9. i don’t know how to do better.
i’m a college student. i need the internet for schoolwork.

Visiting

Hi all,
I was born in USA but am ethnically Azerbaijani. I haven’t visited in years and my family has planned a trip there in June. However, I am a little concerned about going there due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. Is there valid reason to be concerned?
