How do you handle clients who need Google Ads after the site is built?

For those of you who build websites but don't run paid advertising: what do you do when a client finishes their site and then asks about driving traffic?

Do you refer it out, learn to manage ads yourself, or just hand the client a list and step back?

I ask because I work on the Google Ads side, and a lot of the referral arrangements I've seen pay the referring dev a recurring monthly cut (around 10%) for as long as the client stays active.

Curious whether anyone here has set up something like that, and whether passive referral income has actually been worth it compared to keeping the work in-house or staying out of it entirely.

Looking to connect with web developers and agencies.

Hello Everyone,

I work for a Google Ads agency, and I'm building out a referral partnership network.

Here's the idea: many of you build great websites for clients who then need to drive traffic and conversions. That's where we come in. If you have clients who could benefit from professional Google Ads management, I'd love to take that work off your plate.

What's in it for you: I'm offering a 10% monthly referral fee for anyone who recommends clients to us that we close. As long as the client stays active, you keep earning. It's recurring, not a one-time payout.

This works well if you:

  • Build websites but don't handle paid advertising
  • Want to offer more value to your clients without expanding your own services
  • Are looking for an additional, passive revenue stream

We handle the ads, your clients get results, and you get paid monthly for the introduction. Simple and transparent.

If this sounds interesting, drop a comment or send me a message and let's talk.

P.S Sorry to the admins if this is not permitted
