Hey everyone,

I’m planning a trip over to Pattaya soon and I’ve decided to commit to a bit of a social experiment/costume project for my nights on Soi 6.

Instead of the usual t-shirt and jeans look, I’m going full Retro Sleaze. Think Ron Burgundy's ego mixed with Austin Powers' wardrobe. I’m talking:

A velvet or loud-patterned suit with the shirt unbuttoned way too low.
The full "chest hair and gold chains" aesthetic.
An absolutely offensive amount of Drakkar Noir or vintage cologne.
Tinted aviators (indoors, obviously).

The goal is to act like I am putting in the absolute maximum effort to "woo" the ladies—using cheesy pickup lines and outdated charm—all while knowing full well that Pattaya is "pay-to-play" and the outcome is already a given. I want to see how the girls react to someone leaning this hard into a character.

Has anyone else ever gone in "costume" or done a specific bit like this? Does the staff care if you’re being a theatrical weirdo as long as you’re buying drinks and following the rules?
