Has Anyone Else Experienced Unwanted Touching on Soi 6

Today, while I was walking along Soi 6 in Pattaya, I went through a very unpleasant experience. I was sexually harassed by several women who were on the street. They touched me without my consent and even groped my intimate areas. I felt very embarrassed and uncomfortable because of what happened. Regardless of who the victim or the perpetrator is, no one should be touched without their consent.

Why do girls in Pattaya have so many tattoos?

Is it a culture thing? Or just the socially accepted cool thing to do?

Some research has suggested large amounts of tattoos can be an outwardly display of traumatic experiences (not sure how much truth there is to this though)

I also read "Lack of impulse control" might be a factor.

Simon Peter Carman showing absolutely no emotion in Thai jail... according to prison staff.

Bit of an interesting update on this case... According to prison staff at Pattaya Remand Prison, Simon Peter Carman has shown pretty much zero emotion since being locked up. No crying... no looking upset... no visible concern about what's happened... and no visible concern about the situation he's now in. One prison commander reportedly said, "He does not cry. He does not look sad." They then added, "He is normal. Just normal. Not even a little bit. Nothing. He is fine." Apparently he's not even being held in the normal prison cells. He's been placed in the hospital wing... not because he's sick, but because prison officials believe it'd be way too dangerous to house him with the general Thai prison population. The commander reportedly explained, "He is not sick, but we keep him there because he is a hard prisoner." That doesn't mean "hard" as in a hardened criminal. It's apparently a translation issue. They seem to mean he's hard to accommodate safely, because of the danger he'd face from other inmates. The commander then made that pretty clear, saying, "He is not a problem prisoner for us, but he cannot be in a cell because it would be very dangerous for him if he was inside with Thai inmates." So basically... he's in protective custody, just being housed in the hospital wing because it's considered the safest place to keep him. Reports also say he hasn't received any visitors since entering prison. For anyone who's missed the story... Thai police allege CCTV captured Carman entering his apartment with 17-year-old Tunchanok Donhomla before later leaving alone carrying a large suitcase. Police allege her body was later found inside that suitcase near railway tracks in Pattaya. Carman was arrested at Bangkok's airport while allegedly trying to board a flight back to Perth. He's been charged with murder, concealing and moving a body, and taking a minor for sexual purposes. He has pleaded not guilty and claims he acted in self-defence. Those allegations haven't been tested in court. If he's convicted under Thai law, he could face life imprisonment or even the death penalty. Pretty wild hearing prison staff describe him as showing absolutely no visible emotion... no tears... no sadness... no visible distress... despite facing one of the most serious criminal cases imaginable in a Thai prison.

Anyone else have this problem?

  1. Married 30 years. Retired. Kids out of the house. Good health and good finances. and just spent 4 weeks in Thailand. I did the same about a year ago. 1 in BKK, 1 in Chiang Mai and 2 in Pattaya.

I can't think of almost anything else but to leave my wife and return. Not sure about forever but more than a month at a time. Marriage is meh. Boring and domestic. and I don't think I want 20 more years of the same.

Anyone else in the same boat or mindset? I'm trying understand the consquences but...

Koh Larn - any nightlife?

I’m in Pattaya 🚖 for three weeks in August and I’m considering spending a couple of nights in Koh Larn but I’m scared I’ll be bored shitless.

I don’t mind a swim in the ocean and a beer on the beach but I’m more into bars, music, women. Is there any nightlife on the island? Are there any freelancers on the island? I don’t want to book accommodation there and then find out I’ve wasted my time.

Grateful for any advice. Cheers.

ED pills

1st timer 38 year old coming over in August for 10 days. I plan to have a few marathon sessions focusing mainly on LT. I don't do drugs and I don't drink.

I've never had performance issues and I've never taken ED pills however I'm hoping that ED pills would keep the party going for several hours.

Can taking ED pills when you don't have ED mess with your brain chemistry ?

Would love to hear some opinions.

Also should I go with Viagra or tadalafil ?

P.S I'm going to bring the pills along with me.

Question about a TikToker streaming from Poison on Soi 6 – Is she available for barfine / ST?

Hey everyone,

I frequently see a specific girl hosting TikTok lives directly from Soi 6, specifically from a bar called Poison (here is a link to her profile/clip for reference: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTSyLYQFq/ ).

I’m planning an upcoming trip and I'm highly interested in trying to lock in a short time (ST) session with her. Budget isn't an issue for me—I don’t care if her barfine or lady drinks are premium priced, I just want to know if it's actually possible or what the deal is with her.

For those who frequent Soi 6 or know the setup at Poison:

Is she an actual working bar girl who is available for barfining, or is she just hired as an influencer/promoter to bring digital traffic to the venue?

If she is available, does she actually go out with customers, or does she strictly stick to streaming and pulling in virtual gifts?

If anyone has experience with her or the current vibe at Poison, what’s the best approach to lock this in when I get there?

Appreciate any solid info or first-hand insights from anyone who knows the Soi 6 layout right now. Thanks!

Anybody experienced this?

Today I was just minding my own business having lunch with a ploy I met yesterday. Peaceful & quiet. Suddenly a motorbike drove past us slowly and the driver took a photo/filming us. There were only us two at the lunch place The ploy seemed really weirded out by it. I also found it weird but now I wonder if any of you fellow farangs have experienced this in Pattaya? 🤔 I don’t worry about it, I’m a respectful tourist in every way, but it shure makes you wonder🤣

Hello

I'm going to start taking PrEP so I can have sex without a condom. How do you get the girl to agree to going without one?

Visa Free rules?

Good evening/morning depending on where you are located. I am coming to the brain trust of our favorite sub-Reddit with a question I can’t find a hard answer to.

I normally visit Thailand twice a year from the USA. This year (2026) I was our favorite city for a bit over two weeks. My second trip is planned for the fall. I have been doing this for years with no trouble. But here is the kicker for my 2nd trip of the year. I am thinking of flying to Thailand spending a week, then going to the Philippines for a week, and finally returning to Thailand for a second week before going home.

I know they have changed the Vise Free stay back to 30 days. But I have not been able to find a hard answer on the number of Vise free entries you can do. My total days in Thailand for the year after my next trip will be less than 40. Some sites say 2 but the Thai government page doesn’t list anything specific. I know I can just apply for a 30 day multi entry tourist visa but I hate to do it if it’s not needed.

So I’m looking for advice or suggestions.

Reality check about a past Pattaya “tour helper” story

I’m not looking for contacts or trying to arrange anything. I’m asking about a past situation and whether the explanation sounds realistic in Pattaya.

A Thai woman I was dating said she once accompanied a wealthy Hong Kong/Chinese tourist in Pattaya for 1 night / 2 days. She described it as simple local tour help: walking around, showing places, and taking phone photos.

She was not a licensed guide, not a professional photographer, and not working through an agency or verified platform. It was an overnight arrangement, but I don’t know the room details. She also said her older sister went with her, but I never saw clear proof.

The amount was around 20,000 THB.

She insisted nothing intimate happened and that it was only tourism help. The same man later invited her to join him on a Phuket trip, but she said she refused because her boyfriend would be angry.

For people who know Pattaya reality: does this sound believable as normal non-professional tour help, or would most regular visitors assume it was something more intimate?

Again, I’m not asking for services or contacts. I’m only trying to understand whether the explanation is realistic.
