need rest, looking for advice- have SleepHQ

I've gotten desperate and could use some advice (and incase I'm heading in a strange direction- some warnings)

my sleep therapist only looked at compliance. our meeting got and stayed quiet.

for the last year sleep has been progressively worse. I can only sleep for about 2-3 hours at a time (up to 4 hours a couple of times a week), wake up (sometimes gasping, sometimes bloated stomach) to my mask farting into my face, I wash my face and adjust my mask and sleep for another couple of hours before doing it again.

I'm 220s lbs (actively losing weight), normally sleep on my back- trying to sleep on my side

maybe my greasy face- before going to bed I wash my face, shave, tried oil control/mattifying moisturizers and no product, but I know my facial grease is an issue because it makes the silicone slippery- sometimes I wake up and I can't tighten the straps enough to prevent leaks

maybe my mask's fit- I loosen the straps so the masks stays on my face and then have to tighten when I wake up to keep it on my face... tried keeping it tight- didn't help, and I get sores on the back of my head

maybe the equipment- swapped from old airsense10 to airsense11 (about a month ago), I can switch to a brand new cushion and still have this problem. I purchased more cushions and replaced frequently, I tried different masks- Mirage quattro, F10, F20- airfit and airtouch, and different sizes... I'm really trying to make it work with airtouch (the foam still works with the facial oil) ...... maybe it's my facial structure- going to try airfit f40 and F&P evora- in the mail now..

cpap settings- I changed pressure from the 5-20 (recently)... upped the min (thought it would help prevent events) and decreased the max (hoping to prevent air in stomach), increased the EPR, increased the humidity... but I think I need to keep changing settings...

can you guys give me some advice?

Floating tree!

Magical floating dead tree!!! (with lots of poison ivy... lots... and lots)

decaying tree with thick hairy ropes: clipped the bottoms of the vines- waited a couple of days, super straight-forward cuts with chainsaw... tree would not fall... couple wedges- couple whacks with sledge- and now my dead tree is floating.... swinging around like a Christmas tree ornament- suspended by poison ivy to an even taller tree....

in a saner situation I may have waited for the vines to dry out but with a volatile wife I ended up trimming poison ivy with pruning shears... my 30ish foot ladder- turned out super dangerous and only got me about 1/3 of the way there... so I had to climb the rest of the way on the other tree.... at night.

The tree is no longer hanging, the wife has calmed down, I'm still alive, but I'm really itchy

could use some help planning

visiting White Mountains next week

my wife imagines herself, but isn't, an outdoorsy person. Our hiking adventure at the Grand Canyon ended 1.3 miles in- and after that we spent the rest of the time tracking down hot springs....

she's wants a trip to the White Mountains she imagines some kind of hiking/camping journey... but she can't handle bugs, she needs cell phone coverage or she'll emotionally break down, she melts without AC, and she's bringing the dogs....

I'm thinking driving up Mt.Washington, driving down Kancamungus highway, a campfire somewhere along the way to see the stars, and a dog friendly hotel

Are there any other good ideas for 3 days for a wife who'd explode if she tried to fish and has the stamina to hike about 2 miles/day?

How much bug spray am I going to need?
