Agnostic feeling a deep urge to pray due to the UK wildfires
Hi all, I first wanted to say that I am an agnostic (really unsure whether God exists but know for certain it would be a Christian God if so) from the UK and I'm from an area thats been particularly effected by the wildfires happening around here. My town is full of smoke so we either breathe it in or close our windows and trap 40c heat in our houses and people have lost their homes. I'm so deeply worried that the fire will hurt the people I love and will damage the expensive music equipment I have been curating before I study music at university.
Anyway, because of this, I've been feeling an ever growing urge to pray, to beg God to help us and demand the fire leaves my home unharmed in Jesus's name. I'm just looking for advice on how exactly to do this (if I should) and any insight anyone can give me from a Christian perspective. Thank you all
