Addressing the issue of low tier D.O. schools (such as WCUCOM, LMU, Burrell etc.) notoriously creating horrible outcomes w/ constant curriculum changes, professor turnover and poor board outcomes Anyone that interviews with lower tier & rural D.O schools, of course with all

Posting as advice for future bright premed applicants and future med students so that they are aware while deciding which schools to attend!

Anyone that interviews with lower tier & rural D.O schools, of course with all other schools as well (but especially with schools like WCUCOM), ask them about them about the following 4 points.

See the manner of how they respond, rather than just the content of their responses.

Lower tier schools like WCUCOM have had made very strong efforts and unfortunately have done very well the past few years in covering up many of these stats. These schools struggle with attracting students to move to these areas, which is why they falsely advertise their outcomes data to lure students to matriculate here.

  1. Level 1 and Level 2 first time pass rates
  2. % Attrition, not just repeat %, for the past 4 years
  3. Match rates before SOAP

School like WCUCOM need to realize that this is a two way journey. Students can help and harm the school just as much as the school can help and harm a student's career.

Just spitballing here and a random thought...

This is just how my brain works lol

What if the Sixers actually went through with the rumored trade of a young Jerry Stackhouse for Kobe in the 96' draft, and still selected AI with the first pick. One of AI or Kobe probably wouldn't become as great of a GOAT as they became, but still would've been very interesting.

I ask this because I wonder how close Maxey and VJ could live up to this hypothetical of an AI and Kobe duo from a 96'. I know, I am getting WAY ahead of myself, but this is just an absolute pipe-dream hypothetical question!

Again one of Kobe or AI would've had to take a backseat in that 96' and onwards scenario. Lowkey would've been hilarious to see who's "ego would relax" and take that back seat. Theoretically, neither AI and Kobe wouldn't become the players they became, but I firmly think they would've had still have the innate superstar level talent in that scenario and still become NBA legends. I'd like to believe Harris wouldn't have been able to buy the team in this scenario either.

On another note, Stephen A Smith cost us the chance to have seen a AI and Mcgrady duo in 98' (look it up). Truly is blasphemous.
