For me, I was replaying my Pokémon X cartridge when my game started crashing at certain Pokémon models being loaded in like machop, (specifically) sand-cloak burmy, etc. Eventually I got to a cutscene right at the end of Lysandre labs where it could not load it without crashing, and no matter how many times I soft reset, it never changed. That happened 2 months ago and since then I have bought a 64 GB SD card and have been modding it like hell, which would have never happened if my cartridge never stopped working. Just helped a friend mod theirs two nights ago too and we are about to learn how to load DS roms on it tonight!
