Remodeling my bedroom

I am remodeling my room and want to hear from real
People what their thought are because I’m afraid it might be a little unrealistic considering my room is 10-1/2 x 13-1/2 feet. Roughly 140sq ft. I made design plans and want to hear opinions. PLEASE any opinions at all

The smell of smoke on a sweatshirt

I wish I could go back
not to win the lottery,
not to warn anyone,
not to change the world,
just to leave one note
on the kitchen table.
Keep your son in Cub Scouts.
Keep him in sports.
Take him outside
even when you’re tired.
Teach him
how to throw a baseball,
how to spiral a football,
how to bait a hook,
how to read a trail
without looking at a screen.
Keep taking those hikes.
One day
he won’t remember
what ride was his favorite
at Disney
or what souvenir
came home in the suitcase.
He’ll remember
the smell of pine needles,
a campfire that crackled
long after the stories ran out,
a fishing line
stretching across quiet water,
and the sound of people he loves
laughing
where no one was in a hurry.
You think
he’ll want expensive things.
He doesn’t.
He wants memories
that don’t fit
inside shopping bags.
He wants mornings
that begin in a tent.
Afternoons
that end on a boat
with his mom.
Cabins
filled with friends
who swear they’ll stay in touch forever.
He wants moments
that refuse
to become memories.
Because that’s the cruel thing
about the best days.
They always end
before you’re ready.
So if you ever catch him
standing still
at the end of a camping trip,
or taking one last look
at the lake,
or lingering
by the dying fire,
it’s not because
he’s afraid
to go home.
It’s because
for a little while,
the world finally felt
exactly
the way he wished
it always could.
