So, there's been very little info on the x1

So, there's been very little info on the x1

Ok, so is inmotion expecting the x1 to charge at extremely high rates? If so that'd be awesome! This plug looks like the kr 2+6 pin or the kr ultra 2+6 pin, at least in shape. It looks very beefy, and will probably get rid of my worry about bending pins on the aviation ports. Based on this, am I to assume we'll be seeing another 200v+ wheel from inmotion soon?

1 month in, and out of warranty

So I got my "final" warranty pair of shokz openrun pro 2's about a month ago, and the volume/power button is already noticeably squishy. It's not long until it fails now, if my previous pairs are anything to go off of. My warranty ran out sep. 2-2026. I really wish they wouldn't have wasted so much time with my last replacement pair, as if they had given me this last pair in the amount of time they usually had, I would have been able to warranty these ones also.

Anyways, I'm testing out other open ear earbuds, and not many of them are very good. Soundcore has been surprisingly good, but just don't lay flat to your skull like shokz does. Anyways, guess this is my last post in Shokz unless they honor their warranty after it's already run out, which the representative did say to call anyways saying "we might still honor the warranty, even if it's run out".

I forget if I posted this last time, but they did also refuse to extend the warranty, change what model device I'd get for an older one, or give absolutely any leeway at all. I'm pretty ashamed that I recommended this company to so many people, and influenced friends and family to get pairs.

Stock leaperkim charger issues

So, something happened last night that in 3000 miles of riding, I've never noticed. I've been using a pidzoom fast charger recently and loved it, but idk how well it balances, so I still charge using the stock charger once a week or so. Anyways, I charged last night using the stock charger, and the voltage stayed over 126.0v, according to the data screen, and darknessbot. (When I woke up, it read 126.2v on the leaperkim screen)

Anyways, none of the cells appear over voltage, all being in range of what I'm used to, and the BMS screen has each battery at 125.5v, which is also normal after balancing. However, I've never seen the voltage on the other screens read as high as they were according to darknessbot and never 126.2 when not being actively charged (this was with charger off).

So, is the stock charger busted? I haven't changed anything, and everything else looks to be totally fine. In fact, I don't even understand how it reads a higher voltage on one screen, and lower on the BMS screen (though that part is normal).

Also, I know it reads 126.1v in the screenshot. I turned on the headlight to drain it a bit, it was at 126.2 after I unplugged it and turned it on.

I think my group ride charging setup is finally complete

So I just got my pidzoom portable charger (126v-178v up to 14A) and tested it out on a 240V circuit. It's working great! Haven't had a reason to charge yet, but tomorrow!

Adapters are TT-30P(120v), 14-15p(240v), 14-40p(240v), 10-30p(240v), 6-50P(240v). Then I have two EV adapters, the NACS(Tesla 120-240v), and the j1772 (120-240v).

No, this is not my daily charging setup. This is for long rides, where I'm riding to below 20% battery, and want to not slow any of the larger wheels down. I'm a Patton s, and the other euc guys I have ridden with, are all 65mph plus wheels.

Update on my final warranty claim for Shokz

I messaged shokz to warranty my OpenRun pro 2 early this month. This is the 6th time I've had to replace these under warranty. They sent me a shipping label, and told me to send it in. This is the first time they've ever had me do that. I sent it in on the 14th. I waited several days to no updates. On the 21st, I emailed support for an update. Nothing. On the 24th I emailed for an update. Nothing. On the 28th I emailed for an update. Nothing. No automated email, which I have always received almost immediately in the past. No actual response after. Nothing.

My final email to them was a request for an update, and some type of compensation for having had so many products be defective, wether it's an extension on my warranty (which expires on the 2nd of September), or having an older device sent instead of the openrun pro 2.

Honestly, this has been ridiculous, and while previously they've at least tried to have good customer service, good customer service for a bad product isn't really a helpful thing in the long run.

Update; today I've finally received my final replacement pair, and have called shockz customer service. I got through, and asked about a warranty extension. There is no such possibility apparently. I also asked about just receiving replacement buttons. The answer was that they will not be sending out, or selling replacement buttons. Their answer is to contact them again, after my warranty expires, to see if maybe they will replace them again, but they're not giving a guarantee or anything.

Anyways, idk about the other models, but do NOT buy the openrun pro 2 model. I NEVER had these issues on my og openruns, and I treated those WAY worse.

Who here have ridden their wheel til dead?

I rode 100 miles on a Patton S, alongside a Sherman L yesterday. We charged a few times, but got kinda impatient. Anyways, I ended up draining the 126v battery all the way down to 92.x volts at its lowest. That's 3ish miles at 0% battery, with tiltback even at 2mph the whole time. At 92.x volts, the wheel wouldn't even balance its own weight.

Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone else has drained their battery like this. I saw a review of the oryx where it still did 30+mph at 0% with no beeps‽ So I'm just curious.

Just filed my 6th warranty claim

So I've been putting this final warranty claim off for as long as I can, but I finally am completely unable to turn my shokz openrun pro 2's on, AGAIN! Yes, it's the same issue that happens after 4-6 months, every time for this product. I bought them September 2 2024, and sadly, this will be my last possible claim under warranty for these, assuming the next pair doesn't prove faulty sooner than previous pairs.

I'm going to try, yet again to get the warranty extended to at least 6 months more, due to this completely faulty button design, but with as bad as they have been for me at anything additional to just replacing the device under warranty, I doubt they will. Heck, I'd even rather they send me a cheaper model if that would fix the problem. I never had this issue with my OG open run headphones, and those lasted for ≈3 years no warranty, and alot more abuse and sweat.

Note, the use all pairs of the open run pro 2's I've had is literally just wearing them during driving and regular work. No hard exercising (due to injury), no swimming, showering, submersion of any kind, no harsh chemicals, nothing to clean them other than a wet cloth, I truly have no idea how I could be any easier on them other than just not using them at all.

Anyone know why my times are messed up?

You don't need to watch the whole thing or anything. Just look at the times.

So my current time and total writing time both reset for some reason. My total riding time is supposed to be well above 50 hours.

Also both timers are going up by 2 to 3 seconds every single second for some reason. It's a little weird. I did a 50-minute ride, and it claimed I did a 2 and 1/2 hour ride... This is visible in the video.

Wheel is the leaperkim veteran Patton s.

This issue started today after riding for nearly 1 hour and getting temps up to about 54° c according to the wheel, which I don't think is too hot. However, just in case I have waited for it to cool off completely. It's been in AC for nearly 8 hours and it's still having this issue.

Patton S Vibrating

Ok, so I've been having this issue for about a week now. I thought I fixed it by stripping it down, tightening and threadlocking the motor and suspension screws yesterday, which were SUPER loose, but no, it started again today... Anyone know what could be causing this? I don't think my screws backed out again... Could it be the shock itself? Milage is only 1400 miles. Practically new.
