2 weeks in!

So I'm two weeks in, doing three classes a week, also walking and roller skating and getting some exercise at home even on my OTF days.

I am totally noticing though, after every class, the next day I have a whole new batch of sore muscles, and sometimes the ones from the day before haven't even healed yet. Seriously, when I even try to sit up from my couch or get out of bed in the morning my lower abs feel like they're separating from my body.

Not whining or complaining, I totally know no pain no gain and sore muscles means I'm working them harder than I ever have, but can anyone tell me how long this lasts? LMAO

I'm pushing through but it really does make it hard to go to class the next day knowing I won't be able to do the core exercises perfectly because my abs hate me.

One week down!

So I joined Orangetheory one week ago and I have done three classes and I'm loving it! But oh my God I am so sore! I was using resistance bands and trying to work out at home, apparently I wasn't doing anything but playing because the pain is real!

Aside from just powering through and using muscles I didn't know exist, any tips for these first couple of weeks?

I'm going to be attending my first Orangetheory class later this week, and I'm presently thinking I will attend twice a week.

For context I am on a weight loss journey and have lost 60 lb, the last 25 of it has been with the help of glp-1. I've gone from 218 at my heaviest to 158 at present and I'm still losing, but I'm also within 20 lb of my goal weight so I'm starting to think about what happens when I discontinue the glp1 and I know that weight training is a key factor in successfully keeping the weight off after you stop.

My question is, since I've never been to a class I know that they do cardio and weight training in the same class but I'm kind of wondering what that looks like and if twice a week would be sufficient.

Hi everyone! So I've been on Semaglutide since August and I'm doing well, losing weight, albeit slowly (30 lbs over 9 months), and no real side effects anymore to speak of. I am not planning on getting off anytime soon, however I keep seeing posts and comments about gaining the weight back and people saying that everyone will gain their weight back.

I also have anxiety, and so I've done some research today and was looking at set point Theory and resetting your set point. I found some information on how losing weight slowly and maintaining it can change your set point to a lower weight, and I feel like the losing it slowly thing is a tic in my favor, and I'd like to hear from anyone who has lost weight on semiglutide, weaned off or stopped cold turkey, and managed to keep it off. Anyone out there?

It's not exactly showing off but I'm trying to make progress. I am attempting to turn one foot so that I'm kind of heel to heel and skate in a full circle with my feet facing in different directions. I don't know if that makes sense, but I do know that's not what's happening here. 🤣

Maybe someone who sees this can give me a few pointers? In case you're wondering, I am wearing wrist guards and I have ass armor underneath my pants because I've fallen enough to know...😅🛼
