UMD Club Web Development Opportunity This Summer
Campus Coders Crew (CCC) is a web development club at UMD that produces pro-bono websites and software solutions for organizations around campus. We have worked with various organizations such as the Climbing Club, STICs UMD, and Terps Racing. We work year-round, including the Summer, and we are recruiting Developers, Designers, and Project Leads for our Summer 2026 Development Season. We offer members experience in UI\UX Design (Figma), Front-End Development (ReactJS + TailwindCSS), Back-End Development (NodeJS/ExpressJS + Firebase), and Project Management (Agile methodology/Scrum).
We have an open admissions policy, where all applicants are assigned to a team where they can learn and contribute to a meaningful project. Additionally, we have a flexible workload that works around our members' schedules (some of our members have 40 hr/week internships, and we can provide them opportunities to do good while having a maintainable work-life balance).
We use Agile with week-based sprints and value transparency as a core value. Our development logs are here, and our public release folder is here.
To apply, please complete this form: go.umd.edu/ccc-development-interest. Development has already started, and new members will be assigned to teams within a week. If a prospective member is interested in participating in Fall 2026 but not the Summer, there is an option to be placed on BREAK until the Fall. For any questions, please email campuscoderscrew@gmail.com
We also have a robust operations team consisting of committees for Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Graphic Design, and more. These roles are aimed at both technical and non-technical individuals. Our Committee application form is at go.umd.edu/ccc-committee-interest
