E.B. spends half the show trying to convince everyone that he's smarter than he is.

The funniest part is that Al knows exactly what he's doing most of the time, but still keeps him around because E.B. is useful.

So you get this bizarre relationship where E.B. is constantly trying to maneuver around Al while Al is basically letting him believe he's maneuvering.

E.B. probably thinks he's playing chess.

Al is letting him play with the pieces.

There are so many little moments where Astrid already knows what Walter is about to ask for before he asks. She'll have his food, find whatever random object he needs, or redirect him before Peter even realizes what's happening. It's easy to miss because she's usually just quietly doing it in the background.
