“Glowing Door” diffusion help
Hi everyone! I have a pretty oddball situation that I’m hoping someone can help me with a solution to. My band came up with an idea to have a glowing door to use for our live set as well as a good social media content prop.
Right now, I have this NEEWER CB200C 200W light to use for the backlight and it does seem to work pretty well with diffusion sheets. My problem is that I would prefer not to use sheets since they’re so easily torn and this will get moved around a lot. I’ve looked into the 2447 acrylic sheets, but being in Montana with no stores nearby the shipping would be a crazy amount of money for a sheet large enough to fill the doorway.
Would a clear sheet sanded to be “frosted” work? Or would that not disperse the light uniformly like I’m imagining? I am extremely new to anything lighting related so any suggestions would be amazing!
