Hi everyone,
I'm considering applying to St. Xavier's College and wanted to know which is better for B.Com — the Morning shift or the Evening shift? How do they compare in terms of faculty, attendance, campus life, placements, and overall student experience?
Would appreciate opinions from current students or alumni. Thanks!
My qualifications CBSE Commerce student (2025), scored 91.2% in Class 12. Planning BCom along with CA preparation. Confused between St. Xavier's College Kolkata, The Bhawanipur Education Society College and Umesh Chandra College as backup options.
Need honest advice on attendance pressure, flexibility for CA, crowd and overall environment.
Got 91.2% in CBSE Commerce. Earlier took admission in St. Xavier's College Kolkata but had to leave due to personal reasons. Now planning BCom + CA together. Also considering The Bhawanipur Education Society College and Umesh Chandra College as backup.
Which one is better for CA students in terms of attendance, timings and overall environment?
Passed CBSE 12th in 2025 with 91.2%. Took admission in St. Xavier's College Kolkata but had to leave due to personal problems.
Now thinking to apply again and do BCom with CA preparation. Is SXC manageable with CA or should I choose a lighter college? Need honest opinions from seniors.
,My sister is planning to take admission in Shri Shikshayatan College Kolkata for BCom. Can any current student or passout share honest reviews about:
- Attendance
- environment
- Strictness
- Is it worth taking admission?
Her Class 12 percentage is around 91% (CBSE). Any help would be appreciated.
