Pride Parade

Yesterday I went to a pride parade in my city with my best friend and of course I was there representing my asexuality.

However, I wanted so bad to open up about my attraction (& unconventional relationship) to my town crush, but I was absolutely scared I'd be judged, so I kept it lowkey.

I know that pride parades should be the moment where we don't feel ashamed at all about how we feel, in fact I wasn't ashamed (I am proud of my way to feel love) but simply scared of not being understood; mostly, because the objectum/conceptum community is, unfortunately, still not accepted/understood by the majority of people and I wanted to avoid problems.

What I wanted to ask to you guys is: have you ever experienced the same, especially at a pride parade if you've ever been to one? Do you have any advice for me?

I'll probably see my love again, but I overthink

My attraction to the town I fell in love with has brought me to change many things in my life and gave me the motivation to keep on so I could see her again soon.

Now that I reached almost all the aims I had in my mind I have an insane will to travel to her again by the end of the year (and it's good because I moved to a place that is a bit closer to her than where I lived before).

In fact, I'll probably see her again in December and I'll go with my boyfriend (who knows about it and supports me in that) but I'm scared anyway that I won't be able to. I mean I'm so hyped that I'm scared that something will go wrong for me to see her.

I'm building my life fast just to be able to see her as soon and as much as possible. However, now I'm so much stubborn and try to give my best to succeed in work and life, but I'm continuously scared to fail and not being able to afford travels (like somehow failing to have my contract renewed), but I think it's just my brain that is so hyperfocused and cares a lot that makes me overthink.

I passed from a lover that could be with me whenever I wanted (music genre) to a lover that is far from me but makes me feel way better and happier, even if I suffer coz I'm almost never there.

But I love her too much... too much to explain, and here's certainly the only place where I can speak about it without being judged.

(bonus: I will probably also see her in March, hopefully).
