My mom’s partner passed away and she is offering to sell his 2020 Trail Boss Custom 5.3L to us. I’m looking for a truck that is capable for hiking and fishing access but that can also occasionally pull a 1 horse trailer.

This truck is immaculate and has not been driven off road at all. Has new AT tires on rims and new studded winters on rims. Spray in box liner, Tonneau cover and he added running boards (would remove).

The truck has 154,000 km on highway miles and she wants $27k CAD.

I’m nervous of the mileage but only plan on keeping 2-3 years after which daughter is off to college and no more horse trailering (she competes).

Thoughts? Is this worth it? Things to look out for? I drive approximately 14k a year.
