Curse Technique: Globes of Atlas
The user manifests this technique as 2 inch diameter black spheres imbued with their technique, called globes. These globes alter the intensity of gravity on the user until they make contact with a target, at which point the user is relieved of the burden and the target is inflicted with said burden fivefold.
This alteration of intensity can go both ways, with the globes either increasing or decreasing gravity’s pull. They can be thrown by the user, but their effects are not relieved until the target is struck. Additionally, the user has a moderate amount of influence over the globe once it is throw.
Upon striking a target, the globe itself disappears and the effect is inflicted on the target as long as the user maintains it. The user can maintain multiple globes at once, but the strain triples for each additional globe being maintained.
Possible domain expansion: Weight of the World. When the user opens this domain, it immediately compresses itself into one of their globes. The globe does not apply the burden until seven seconds pass, after which its multiplier begins to rapidly increase, potentially reaching hundreds of times the gravitational intensity. The globe is not imbued with a sure hit effect, however, so it puts the user at immense risk of instant death if they fail to strike the target.
