Which demographic attends Flow Festival ?

It's more of a sociology related question. I have always been interested in upper classes in most countries I have lived in, their circles and behavioral patterns.

I passed from a pre-Flow event today, and I noticed the people dancing there. All tall, blonde and pretty much the same style. For women and men. Men had the same haircut and type of jawline. Women same oversized leather jacket, and short skirts.

I am curious to know if these people are part of the Helsinki "elite" ? Or the upper class ? I understand there is a small demographic here that speaks swedish and they are typically generationally wealthy. Do Finnish people from the same class exist aswell ? The closest family I can think of is the Kone family, that produces the elevators. Maybe some executives from old Nokia ? Do these families usually own villas outside of main cities ?

Can anybody shed some light on this ?

Is this considered normal behavior when it comes to dating in Helsinki?

I got Hinge yesterday and got 4-5 matches. I have been chatting to the girls and I tend to chat a lot before we meet, just to make sure we have things in common and there is actual interest.

This means that the discussion might get a bit personal. Three girls told me that if the date goes well, and they are I don't know how to say it, sexually aroused(?), they call on of their regulars to calm down. I asked them does that mean that the date did not go well ?

They tell me it's the opposite they are very excited.

I don't understand this, as when you date someone you are supposed to like that person, how can you go sleep a moment later with another person ? Is this part of the current dating culture here ? Coming from Canada I find this a bit weird.

What to do in Helsinki as a 35M single man ?

I have been living on and off Helsinki for 6 years. I am having trouble finding social things to do in Helsinki as a man. My hobbies are mostly solitary ones.

For example on a sunny day, in the city of Helsinki, what do locals do ? You can walk around, have coffee, maybe some food, but in terms of meeting people, how do you do it ?

I see groups in parks, will it be OK to just go and chat them up / introduce myself ? Last time I attempted that I went over and said "Hi I am Felix, and I come to say hi", the response I got was "Ok, say hi". I just left lol.

I see people walking hectically around like they have a bunch of plans or about to meet friends etc. How and what is happening ? I don't know what do to, haha.

Anybody wants to grab coffee or hang out ?
