So I have a 1995 del sol SI (swapped bumper to the base model for looks) with a D16Z6 engine and transmission (automatic sadly) but this is my first honda and the first car I plan on modding to be faster so I'm wanting to know what mods would be highly recommended to boost power

Currently my only mods are a muffler delete with performance brakes

Though I'm currently doing cosmetic mods at the moment to make it look good but after I want to boost performance so any suggestions will be very helpful. Please explain like I'm 5 y.o. I'm still learning how engines work
