Noob needs some help
Hoping for some advice and forgive my ignorance in advance. I bought a pair of deadstock Jordan 5 Michigan’s (2019) from one of those companies that matches you with a seller, does verifications, you know the deal. The shoes show up, and they indeed look brand new except for some yellowing on the edges of the icy portion of the soles, and the Nubuck on the uppers is a little stiff and feels a bit dry. I understand that w a shoe that was released in 2019 has likely been sitting in some less than ideal storage that these are issues that can come w the aging process. Can somebody please advise me on some easy use products that a noob could use to help tackle these problems? Especially a conditioner that would be safe to use on the nubuck to help restore/make it a little more supple without significant darkening of the yellow? I’ve seen people say mink oil, but I don’t know if that’s appropriate for that upper material, and so many other conditioners that pop up on searches that probably shouldn’t be used on nubuck either? Can someone please point me in the right direction?
