Iron/steamer to remove creases on BBB?

Iron/steamer to remove creases on BBB?

Has anyone tried the iron/steam trick to remove creases on BBB? My friend asked me to try it on his pair but I have a feeling it could mess up the shoe

Next up: Reglue!

Pinks were one 12-13 hour session and the greens were four 24 hour sessions. Now that I’ve got all the right tools and donors I’m ready to reglue. Will post my finished products when I’m done.

Sprayed waterproofing spray too close to the shoe

It it ruined? How do I fix this? I have put cream on my shoes, polished them with horsehair brush and like 10 minutes later I tried spraying them with waterproofing spray. I know I shouldn’t have done that at all, but I did. I think I might have sprayed too close, because it looks as if the spray melted the wax layer off of the shoe.

What should I do now? These are monks bought in Kazar, supposedly good leather.

Kyrie 4’s soles changed color

I’ve had a pair of Kyrie Flytrap 4 White Purple Pulses for years but never worn them. I recently went to use them and the entire sole has changed colors. Is there any way to fix this?

how do i remove this stain

as the title says i need help removing this stain, these shoes have about a week and at work today i pushed a card box with them just to a few minutes later look down and see these stains.
so far all i tried was some shoe cleaner gel that didn’t work, and some water with soap with a shoe cleaner sponge which made the fluffy material of the shoes flat, then i rubbed with a silicone brush to restore the fluff as they became flat. i am just sad that i got them recently and already ruined them.

if anyone knows how to remove it please help me

Jordan 10 Shadow stain

I am debating on buying these but I would like to know how possible it would be to get these stains out. Would a simple clean work?

Bondi 9 torn along side in 6 months

Saw another post here complaining about how their HOKAs failed them so decided to share my own story.

One day the entire side stitching just fell apart.

Bought these 6 months ago, and used them mostly for running / aerobics and every day wear. Not that much running, probably 50km total.

Help with what I need have to do, to get these two beauties back on track!

I've just bought a bundle of high end early 2000 Nike Air Air Max 90s with a lot of them needing sole swaps which is fine. But on both their 'running man's' and the 'Steve Nash Suns' the mudguards need some work. Looks like the yellow leather has worn on the 'running man's and some of the cool artwork markings have worn away on the "Steve Nash's. What's the best method of getting these sorted?

Barge super stik, barge infinity cement or barge original cement and why?

Getting ready to reglue and I messed up once already with the Angelus shoe glue and had to start back over. I see a mix of barge superstik, barge original cement and barge infinity cement. Which ones do I use? I see the superstik and the infinity cement are far harder to come by but what’s the difference? Just the Odor or is the bond stronger one one vs the others?

For scope: I’m replying foamposites. Regluing the full bottom. Carbon fiber plates, tabs to carbon fiber plates and the whole sole.

how to remove this spots on j11 cool grey

I did it!

My first time since like 2012 when I was using Sally’s 40 crème developer and I did a pair of 11s since I was still into Jordan’s.

This only took about 12 hours. I’m in awe. I posted on fb already but I was totally expecting to have to do at least two or three 48 hour sessions but I started these about 6 or 7 in the evening last night and this morning I woke up about 7:30 and went to check and this was the result. I should thrown my electric green soles in there too but I was being lazy. Those are about to go in tonight. Gonna reglue the pinks tonight. I’m going to make a short video of my process and mistakes and wins I had.

Electric greens update

Almost 24 hour session done. Fixed my mistake of not letting having a fan on them. Not too bad. Not as good as the pinks but I know it’s because these were decently used so more wear and the pinks were almost ds.

Probably won’t come 100% back but my plan is two 48 hour sessions.

Bought these Air Jordan 5 “Red Suedes” for $50 on Whatnot. Looking for restoration advice before I start.

I picked up these Air Jordan 5 Red Suedes on Whatnot for about $50 and thought they’d make a fun restoration project. They’re in decent shape overall with no major separation or tears, but the suede is faded and dirty, the translucent soles have yellowed, the netting and sock liners need a good cleaning, and there are a few minor scuffs on the midsoles. My plan is to give them a deep clean, restore the suede with a brush and eraser, re-dye the suede if necessary, and then do a few sessions in the Ice Box to improve the icy soles. Before I get started, I’d like to hear what you all think. Does this sound like the right approach, or would a thorough cleaning and brushing be enough to bring the suede back without re-dyeing it? Is there anything else you notice from the photos that I should address during the restoration? This is my first time restoring a pair of Red Suedes, so I’d appreciate any tips or recommendations before I dive in. Thanks!
