21 yo - I have a question about buying a home.

So let's say I really like the idea of financial freedom. I don't exactly have any sort of career or job linked with life fulfillment so I focus on time outside of work to have value in my life. How would I calculate what age would be best for buying a home? There are so many factors I can't think of a way to calculate it without some sort of assistance. annual income, investment rate and related opportunity cost, cost of renting, cost of buying a home with down payment and length of mortgage and interest and maintenance over the years. It's so tempting to just rent forever since that's so much easier to calculate over time.
