Where is the Wizzo??

It has been six weeks since Trump called the rescue of the F-15E weapons systems officer "one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History." He called him "a highly respected Colonel." He took personal credit approximately eleven times. There was a White House press conference. Netanyahu called to congratulate him. The story dominated the news cycle for four days.

The colonel has not been seen publicly once.

This is the same administration that brought a wounded soldier to the State of the Union. They will parade anyone in front of a camera if it moves the needle. You don't need to be fully recovered to wave from the Rose Garden. You don't need to answer a single question. You show up, Trump shakes your hand, everyone claps, it airs on every network. It's four minutes and a photo op.

It hasn't happened. Six weeks later, the colonel has no name, no face, and no public existence beyond Trump's Truth Social posts.

I'm not saying that seizing an abandoned airfield 200 kilometers from the crash site, in southern Isfahan province, which happens to be where Iran stores the bulk of its highly enriched uranium, wasn't the actual mission.

I'm not saying the F-15E going down was a convenient pretext.

I'm not saying the CIA deception campaign was designed to cover a ground operation that had nothing to do with recovering an ankle-injured colonel from a mountain crevice.

I'm just saying:

- The crash site was in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province

- The forward operating base was geolocated near Mahyar, Isfahan — roughly 200km away

- Isfahan is Iran's primary nuclear site

- Iran's own foreign ministry said publicly that "the possibility this was a deception operation to steal enriched uranium should not be ignored"

- The U.S. deployed Delta Force, SEAL Team Six, 155 aircraft, and destroyed two MC-130Js and four helicopters on Iranian soil

- The colonel is "seriously wounded" but apparently executed a two-day evasion on foot through the Zagros Mountains

- He has not appeared publicly, been named, or been interviewed once since

The standard Trump playbook after a win like this is to milk it for everything it's worth. Endlessly. The fact that the most celebrated American military hero of 2026 has been completely invisible for six weeks is not a small anomaly.

Where is the wizzo?

Someone with better sourcing than me should be asking this out loud.

note: if you catch some sentence structure weirdness you're right, I'm autistic and use an LLM to structure my thoughts so you don't get an endless wall of text and ellipses... you're welcome, consider it a reasonable accommodation, but we don't need to hash out takes on AI. This is my work and a summary of a much longer rant. 😉👌
