Where do you guys actually find good alt fashion pieces online?

I’ve been trying to upgrade my wardrobe lately and I keep running into the same problem where a lot of alt fashion sites either feel super overpriced or the quality looks completely different once you read reviews.

I’m mostly into darker gothic and theatrical styles but I still want stuff that feels wearable day to day instead of looking like a cheap costume. Honestly feels impossible to tell which stores are genuinely good from product photos alone now.

For people here who shop online a lot what sites have you actually had good experiences with?

Healthy snack options that fit around training without tanking my calories

I've been lifting 4 days a week and doing cardio on off days, and figuring out snacks that give me energy for workouts without eating into my calorie goals too much has been a whole thing. I used to just grab a protein bar before training but honestly most of them sit like a brick in my stomach when I'm trying to squat.

What I've landed on:

Before training: half a banana with a tiny smear of peanut butter about 45 min before I lift. Light enough that I don't feel sick but enough that I have energy. Maybe 120 cals.

After training: greek yogurt with some granola. I keep the granola to like 2 tablespoons so it doesn't become a 500 calorie situation. This one is about 180 cals.

Afternoon when I'm just at my desk: rice cake with cottage cheese and everything bagel seasoning. Sounds odd but the combo works. About 100 cals.

Evening: shameless gummies or frozen fruit. I switch between the two depending on what sounds good that night.

The thing I had to accept is that my snacks on training days and rest days should look different. On rest days I eat way lighter snacks because I'm just less hungry overall. On training days I need the carbs before and the protein after or I feel terrible.

why are bot free ai note takers actually catching on this year

Maybe Im imagining this but it feels like every other thread in this space the last few months has someone moving away from the notetakers that join calls as a bot. Is there a specific reason this is happening now or is it just my feed?

Curious if its a privacy thing, a vibes thing, or compliance pressure. Seems like a real shift but I want to understand it before changing tools at work. Has anyone here actually thought through why theyre moving or is it just following the trend?

Best bank for ecommerce businesses, best digital bank for entrepreneurs who literally just started on shopify and are confused about everything

okay so i started selling stuff on shopify about two months ago and money is actually coming in which is cool but also scary because i have no idea what to do with it

right now everything just goes into my checking account and i know i'm supposed to set aside money for taxes but i don't know how much and i don't have like a system for it. someone in another thread mentioned something about business banks with sub-accounts where you can have like separate accounts for different things? that sounds useful but also sounds complicated and like maybe it's for people who are way further along than me

i'm doing maybe $3k to $4k a month right now. does it even make sense to think about this or should i just wait until i'm bigger

Top portable power solutions for truck camping that skip the permanent build

Ok so I know the permanent build is kind of the gold standard around here and I am not trying to start anything lol, but I've been running fully portable for a while now and it gets dismissed more than it deserves, especially for people newer to this or switching vehicles more than once.

Everything comes out, nothing is permanent, you move the whole setup to a different vehicle in an afternoon, and you didn't spend on an install that doesn't transfer. Trade-off is no clean integrated look and you're capped at whatever capacity you bought, which is where most portable setups hit a wall eventually.

Currently running 2kWh of portable storage, a 200W folding panel for top-up when stationary, and a small separate unit for laptop and camera gear. Handles the fridge, phones, laptop, and occasional cooking appliance without any drama.

The thing I kept wishing I'd figured out earlier was being able to add capacity later without buying a whole new unit is a way more important feature than it sounds when you're shopping. Day three of a longer trip running low is when you feel that ceiling and by then you already bought the thing.

Curious what other people are running for non-permanent setups and whether anyone has found a portable system that genuinely doesn't feel like a compromise.

Is using a VPN for Vegas stuff actually worth it / safe?

So I was at a local bar last weekend watching the games and a couple of dudes next to me were talking about how they use VPNs to access sites that are blocked in our area for better lines and promos. Kinda sparked my curiosity.

I was messing around online last night, did some late night googling, and ran into a few sites that say they’re blocked in my region unless you use a VPN. One of them was described as an XsBets instant payout crypto casino type thing, but the page itself was basically just “use a VPN” and a bunch of images. No real info, which made me a little suspicious.

I get that in Vegas we’ve got plenty of legit options already, so maybe I’m overthinking this, but I’m wondering if anyone here actually uses VPNs for this kind of stuff. Is it a dumb idea from a legal/safety standpoint? Do casinos or sportsbooks care if they find out?

Curious what you all do: is it better to just stick to the usual Nevada-regulated apps, or are there VPN/crypto setups that are actually safe and worth the hassle?
