One of our girls is well into her senior years. She's been losing weight steadily over time and we need to change her diet to accommodate. She's got a good appetite and cleans her bowl nearly every time (maybe a bite or two left if she's not feeling it). I'd switch her to a senior food but all of them focus on weight loss rather than weight gain. I hear supplementing with eggs or lean proteins is good but that can get a bit expensive on an everyday basis. Is there a supplement or food that you've used to help your dogs gain weight before? Any advice welcome.
