Gombóc, my first hamster, has been living with us for a few months, and we've built a pretty good bond.

For some reason, she often bites my partner, but only him 😆. We've even had our fingers side by side while petting a spot she likes, and she still chose to bite him.

She doesn't seem scared of him, though. She never makes warning sounds, doesn't hide or run away from him, and if she does bite him, she usually stays right there and looks up at him afterward.

The strange thing is that she's never bitten me like that. She even lets me touch around her mouth without any issues.

We don't wake her up, force-handle her, flip her over, or pet her where she dislikes being touched. Any idea why she does this?
