Boffin gives the Lleech the Fool's ability and their host dies, what happens?

If the Boffin gives the Lleech the ability to avoid death such as gaining the Fool's ability or the Sailor's ability, at what point would the Lleech die if their host dies, or does the death go through but doesn't actually happen? When the Boffin dies or just whenever they are executed again? Like if in a niche world the Boffin gives the Lleech the Alchemist Spy ability and they're next to the Tea Lady neighboring another good player, would the Lleech be able to live as long as they are registering as good, even if their host dies?

EDIT: Wait, forget about the alchemist example, I forgot the jinx between Alchemist and the Spy.

Character Idea: Riffraff

***Riffraff (Townsfolk)***: ** You can’t die at night. Once per game publicly guess every in play character. If correct your team wins. If you guess three out of play characters your team loses.**

EDIT: I meant to say you won if you correctly guessed.

Would the Marionette work better as a hard Outsider modifier?

ST’d and played a few games of Onion Pies recently and in four games the marionette neighboring the demon had to be outsiders. It feels kind of unfair for the marionette to be a quiet outsider mods in some cases, how would the character change if its ability read:

Marionette (Minion): You think you are a good player, but you are not. The Demon knows who you are. [-1 to +1 Outsiders; you neighbor the Demon.].

Or also why is it bad if the ST picks the marionette like a Drunk or let the Demon pick the Marionette like a Leech picks their host?
